Central Park Adventures

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you guys had a great weekend! Luckily for me, I have an extra two days off cause its fall break right now, and to kick it off, my boyfriend and I decided to go on a little adventure around Central Park!

So our first stop, of course, was the Bethesda Fountain located near 72nd St. and Terrace Drive.

Here, we decided to take in the views of the majestic fountain while feeling the light breeze through our hair and warm sun on our backs.

Sitting by the fountain and running your fingers through the cool water…there simply isn’t just one word to describe such a serene and calming experience…

And after taking in the scenery of the boathouse

…we made our way to the ducky pond, famous for the numerous sailboats it always has afloat on its waters.

I chose to layer my outfit for this outing since the weather was nice and warm, but still a bit windy from the recent storm affecting the east coast.

I decided on a light blue collared shirt, a gray sweater with jewel detailing, a comfy pair of jeans, leather boat shoes, and of course, my go-to Neverfull tote.

When deciding on a look, I like to stick to a certain color scheme. Here, I chose to contrast the cool tones of the gray and blue with an accent of dark brown. The contrast enhances the outfit and pulls the look together.

For the perfect end to a pretty much perfect day, we decided to take a stroll down 5th ave

to my favorite macaron place: Macaron Cafe for a midday snack and refreshing drinks.

With our bellies full and feeling refreshed, we decided to end the day with a romantic night in and headed back home. Day 1 of Fall Break…success!

Until next time fashionistas,
