Timeless Classics

Styling together some of my favorite timeless pieces today–the striped shirt, the black skinny jeans, and a pair of cut-out ankle booties.

I am a huge fan of neutral tones as the weather starts getting colder–mixing taupe with blacks and gold accents create an effortless and sophisticated look in a matter of minutes.

To spice the outfit up though, I like to add a fun print into the mix. For autumn/winter, I’m loving the Dalmatian print that I’ve been seeing everywhere. I was a bit wary at first, especially because there are so many variations of the print, but once I found a version I really liked, I couldn’t help investing in it.

Having just a bit of fun matching with my favorite travel tumbler for the winter season! I instantly fell in love with this tumbler when I saw it in Starbucks last holiday season–the striped ceramic with gold accents, not to mention the little tutu skirt that came with it! Basically, everything a girl could ever want, all in the design of this tumbler!Autumn Classics 9

When it comes to my go-to handbag this season, I am especially in love with this Dalmatian print bag from Dune because of its versatility and capacity. The design is absolutely genius. The bag is separated into two different compartments, which means you can organize all of your things so much easier. Instead of just throwing my phone, wallet, keys, etc into a jumbled mess in my bag, I can actually differentiate which section I want to use and for what. Autumn Classics 8

There is only one zipper on the top, which saves me a lot of hassle as well because the one zipper opens up to both of the compartments. No more having to fumble with multiple zippers! Not to mention, the bag has two different sides to it! One has the playful dalmatian print while the other is a classic black suede. If I need an evening bag, I can simply remove the linked chain and use the bag as a clutch as well! This bag has been such a lifesaver, especially when I’m rushing out the door because it is so versatile that it goes with absolutely everything and is also big enough for me to throw everything I need for the evening in it!

And finally, these cut out booties. It was definitely love at first sight when I first laid eyes on this gorgeous pair of black leather booties in Dune. I’d been on the search for cut-out booties since the start of the fall season, but it wasn’t until I saw this particular pair that I felt that everything I wanted was finally in one pair of shoes. 1I3A4885

The leather is soft and supple, with a gold zipper design. Here, I’ve only zipped the booties up half-way, so that I could fold over the top for a refreshing twist to the otherwise basic booties. However, you could zip the booties all the way up if you wanted (outfit post to come soon about this!). Although the heels look a bit high, they are actually very stable and comfortable to walk in. Expect many more looks styled with these booties because I am in LOVE!1I3A4888

Hope you’ve had a great start to November so far! Happy styling fashionistas,

  1. I love how this outfit seems like it’s a mix between zara and banana republic. It’s chic, classy, and like you said, effortless. The stripe top makes the outfit look fun, but in a sophisticated manner. Love everything about this!
