The B&W Duo

Vested Layers 5Happy Thursday, loves! Really catching up on my posts now that I’m finally home and settled in from moving back after the semester. Second look for you guys of my summer trend alert series on the blazer vest!

A classic black & white look today…with fun printed shorts for a twist! Layering up with a tuxedo style blazer vest and an oversized boyfriend shirt.

Whenever I’m in a rush or going through a creative block and can’t seem to come up with a decent outfit, I know I can always count on the black & white combo! To make the ensemble more fun, adding a pop of color or a print usually does the trick. It’s such a simple way to spice up the outfit while mixing classic with chic.

Vested Layers 1With fun shorts like these, I like to keep the heels on the lower side. Opting for a pair of cute kitten heels on this occasion.

Vested Layers 7With a classic black & white look, it’s all in the details–so, make sure your other accessorizing pieces add that unique touch to the outfit!

Vested Layers 4Hope you enjoyed my take at an old time classic, layering with my favorite blazer vest of the season! Happy styling fashionistas,
