Being in London this fall is the perfect excuse for wearing my trench coat absolutely everywhere!
A basic trench coat is a must have staple wardrobe piece for any fashionista this autumn! The weather in London has gotten pretty erratic, so wearing this trench is the perfect option to protect against unexpected bad weather.
Since trench coats are such a classic british fashion item, I decided to style mine with the “classic brit” look in mind by pairing with a gingham printed shirt, layered pearls and a structured satchel.
The lace skirt is my own personal touch, playing with another one of fall’s trends. I love how the skirt doesn’t have a traditional lace pattern, but rather a kind of “eyelash” or “lingerie” lace trim at the bottom. The trim feminizes the whole outfit and adds a nice subtle embellishment to the overall look.
Another one of my favorite pairings: trench coats and leopard print. The search for the perfect pair of leopard loafers is finally over! It’s been difficult to find the “perfect pair” especially since there are so many different versions of leopard print, all of which can vary quite a bit.
I instantly fell in love with this pair. The print is very standard and classic and the fit is comfortable and versatile. You can definitely expect more of my future looks to feature these loafers!
