Areta’s Style Secrets x StylePuzzle

In celebration of Areta’s Style Secrets’ first anniversary, it is my great pleasure to announce Areta’s Style Secret’s first ever fashion collaboration with the team at StylePuzzle!

So, what exactly is StylePuzzle?

StylePuzzle is a monthly online styling service that hand picks pieces of clothing that suits your style needs and delivers them to your doorstep every single month! Similar to Birchbox or Julep which does a beauty box every month, StylePuzzle sends its subscribers a box of personalized clothing items for their wardrobe!

The website first gives its clients a comprehensive quiz to determine their style profile. Afterwards, subscribers will receive three hand-selected items of clothing every month. The great part about this is, you get to choose which pieces you want to keep–and only pay for those!

StylePuzzle has personally approached me to be one of their blogger stylists on the site! Now, separate from their monthly styling service, StylePuzzle also has pre-styled outfits already on the site under “Collections.” These outfits are meant to be purchased in a set, as they have already been pre-styled by the blogger for the clients.

Areta’s Style Secrets is now available for purchase through the “Collections” section of the StylePuzzle site! If you love the outfits that I have featured, you’ll be able to purchase all the pieces of that look in a set from StylePuzzle!

Signing up with StylePuzzle is free and you’re not obligated to purchase any of their styling services or products! If you’re interested in purchasing any of the outfits that I have styled here on my blog, check out the Areta’s Style Secrets section of the “Collections” page on their site!

Happy Friday everyone!

Apologies for the lack of posts recently–it’s been harder than expected trying to find a balance between interning and blogging, but I promise that I’m trying to be more diligent with my posts!

Summer is in full force now in the city…which means it’s sweltering hot with unbearable humidity. To keep cool in this impossible weather, I try to wear the lightest, loosest fabrics I own. Working in Manhattan during the week means lots of travel via walking or subway, so I try to keep my outfits as simple and comfortable as possible!

I’ve styled a light pink silk maxi skirt here with an eyelet crop top, beige handbag and gold accessories. The light flowy material of the maxi skirt catches the wind very easily and is a great way to keep cool while still covering up (and look appropriate for the office). I love the mid-thigh slits on the sides of the skirt–they make the skirt less restricting and easier to move in.

Because of the high waisted design, I paired the skirt with a cropped eyelet bustier. The cropped and fitted form of the bustier is a lovely contrast to the loose and flowing silhouette of the maxi, making sure that my figure is not swallowed up by the skirt. The simple eyelet print gives subtle details to the outfit, and a few delicate gold necklaces and bracelets help polish off the look!

Enjoy your summer days, and happy styling fashionistas,

My usual July 4th tradition is to spend time with my family, cook up a barbecue storm on the back porch and then end the night with my town’s gorgeous fireworks. However, this year, I’m spending my July 4th weekend with a staycation in the city–which definitely means a different kind of attire than if I were hanging with friends and family in the suburbs…

I’ve put together an Independence Day inspired look for a night out in the city. Whenever I go to Manhattan, the whole atmosphere changes–the people are more fast paced, the nights get classier, which always means you have to step it up and dress for the occasion!

I hope this classed up version of a July 4th outfit inspires your own look while dressing for the 4th! I’m hoping to definitely enjoy the fireworks in the city at a rooftop restaurant/bar in this dressy July 4th getup!

Happy 4th of July fashionistas,
